Just an ideal choice for a city trip in Half Moon Bay with attractive and competitive value for money. The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety each day. For a more comfortable experience, consider requesting a room on a lower level if stairs are an issue.

The owner saw to us personally and upgraded us twice. Feed us cheese and fruit. Brandy and various wines and beers were included. The rooms are so beautiful. Antiques everywhere and most beautifully decorated with Bradbury and Bradbury wallpaper. Everything was perfect down to the smallest detail. The gardens are gorgeous, only sorry it was raining and I had a bad cold, so we couldn't take advantage of the gardens and the beautiful gazebo with hot tub. But roaring fireplace, good food and the feeling of being royalty more than made us happy!

My room was amazing thanks to the FANTASTIC staff. Everything was spotless as expected, nonetheless the bathroom was quite small. It was in a marvellous and awesome location right next to Ink Spell Books. This was my fabulous stay on vacation.

would stay here again
The King Suite was super comfy with a big bed, a cozy fireplace that turned on automatically, and huge windows. It had a nice sitting area and a patio which was great. Easy parking and just a short walk to shops and dining made it even better.

Beautiful gardens, thoughtful host, very delicious breakfast. It was a fanciful atmosphere and fun for a getaway. The hosts thought of every possible thing they could to make the stay enjoyable.
I would say the TV's could be upgraded. We found it diffficult to figure out how to turn it on, although the host fixed it right away for us, and it was very small for today's TVs..

We faced several inconveniences . The room was creaky. The bathroom had a draft.

The Botticelli Rose Room was fine, with a luxurious king size bed with beautiful linens and a cozy fireplace, along with a refrigerator stocked with chilled wine and apples. The afternoon dessert buffet and fresh cookies added a nice touch, as did the fine garden filled with vibrant flowers. The location felt a bit isolated, lacking nearby attractions, and the pricing seemed on the higher side, especially for weekend bookings.

Luxurious Comfort and Relaxation
I spent one night in the King Suite, and the experience was really good. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated with a fireplace, and the luxurious bed ensured a restful night's sleep. I indulged in the complimentary snacks and enjoyed the peaceful garden surroundings. Breakfast was a good start to the day with various homemade options. The only downside was that my stay was too short to fully enjoy all the amenities.

I loved the cozy vibe here, especially the well-stocked mini fridge and the relaxing private jacuzzi in the gazebo. You can soak up the beautiful garden or kick back at the outdoor seating area for some nice downtime. Just be aware that breakfast is a bit of a walk away, but I'd highly recommend this lovely spot 🌹
